Merry Christmas everyone

I hope this finds you all well and having Peace on Earth. I remember a song called " Let there be peace on earth" The words go like this, Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me. Let there be peace on earth the peace that was meant to be. With God as our Father, Brothers all are we . Let me walk with my Brother in perfect harmony. Let peace begin with me, let this be the moment now. With every step I take, let this be my solemn vow. To take each moment, and live each moment, in peace eternally. Let there be Peace on Earth and let it begin with me.

We know there will never be perfect peace on Earth, but we can strive for it with God as our Father and praying get thee behind me Satan.
We love you all, we are home in Redlands. Our R.V. has been in the shop for a week for some warranty work, We are staying at Rita and Paul Bostains during this time. We have been making some special memories with upside down Christmas trees and lot's of laughing. Thank you Paul and Rita for making us laugh at one of the hardest times of the year for us. John and I went to the cemetary yesterday to put Christmas trees on Johnny's and Mom's headstones. I remembered also my Dad, A.D. Compton, Jr's birthday was yesterday. He would have been 78 years old, had he lived. I'm so glad he is in Heaven and one of his dearest friends is also there this year. That is Tommy Stephens, a faithful servant, Deacon at FMBC Redlands. Don't you want to know what they are talking about? We love you all, God bless and keep you.

My favorite place in California

John and I took a drive up to Yosemite National Park yesterday taking advantage of being this close to one of my favorite places. Usually a 7-8 hour drive for us from Southern Calif we have been within a 1&1/2 hour drive, so this is the second time with have driven up there in the last 4 months. We went up this summer when the falls were dry and then drove up to a winter wonderland. We didn't realize it had snowed a little bit so we got to see Yosemite in the winter. It is so beautiful here, one of God's most beautiful creation's.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHNNY

Today Johnny would have been 29. Instead he is spending his birthday in a better place. Heaven, his home for the last 7 years where there are no tears,no sadness, no more pain, no trouble breathing. A place where we all long to be. Do you know about this place? Are you going to this wonderful place? John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. I am so glad I accepted the Lord as my personal Saviour so I can spend eternity with him and also Johnny.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHNNY IN HEAVEN

On the Road again,

Hello, we are on the road again, We sang this morning at Calvary Missionary Baptist church in Santa Paula, Ca. We were so blessed to sing at the sponsoring church for the Mission in Chehalis, Wash where we were on a project in Sept. We are heading to Fresno in the morning to help Bro Richard Wharton on a couple of projects there and then will be going onto Redding, Ca. We will then possibly be heading to Chehalis again to help on finishing work. Pray for our travels and I will post some pictures soon when I have better Internet access.
