What a Bible Conference!

Amen and Thank you Lord.
After working in Fresno for over a week we headed for Redding, Ca where we were invited to sing for Beacon M.B.C. 8th Annual Bible Conference. All I can say is Praise the Lord! It has been a long time since I heard such powerful preaching by many preachers I have been acquainted with for a very long time and a few I have known for a short time.
Many of these preachers knew my Father, A.D. Compton. Jr and it always blesses me to hear them share memories of my Dad. The fellowship was great, but best of all their preaching was so powerful and uplifting.
These men, Pastor's of our Lord's churches were Bro. Art Richardson,
Bro. Scott Tourville, Bro. Russell Bailey, Bro.Robert Williams,
Bro.James Taylor, Bro.Richard Paslay (former Pastor),
Bro.Bill Gurnett, Bro. J.C. Pack, Bro.Frank Palmer and
Bro.Larry Crouch. This was a mini Revival for us. We were blessed to get to sing in the Thursday and Friday night services. If you have never attended a Bible conference here you should come next year. John and I would like to attend this every year whether we sing or not. It was so uplifting and fulfilling. The Lord was in this place and in the preaching of his word.
John and I are staying here in Redding at the church until probably Wed the 14th, as John will be helping Bro. Dennis Wharton on his new home for a few days. We will then be heading for Chehalis, Wa to sing for Calvary Missionary Baptist Missions building dedication and Spring revival with Bro. Cloud on March 18th-20th. This is another blessing to get to sing again at a church where we worked on back in Sept 2006 and get to see the building done and dedicated to the Lord.
After the Revival in Chehalis we will be traveling back to Antioch, Ca for a wedding and a Tent Revival at First M.B.C. Antioch March 22th-25th where we have been invited to sing.
We have been asked to sing at another Chapel building project completed and to be dedicated March 24th at the First M.B.C. in Woodbridge in between the Revival at Antioch.
Pray for our travel safety, our voices, our family and church family while we are away.
I promise pictures and writing again real soon.
God bless and keep you,
P.S. I think our name should be The Singing Mission Builders, what do you think? There were jokes at the conference about being called the Chapel Building Quartet and many wanted to audition for a Quartet.
I don't know, we have to ask Richard and Robyn if they want to sing first.
In His service,
John and Esther
